TOURISM DEVELOPMENT
Tourism is one of the fastest-growing economic sectors in the Philippines. However, that growth is stifled by inadequate infrastructure and an underdeveloped collective policy vision. REID has already built networks of actors and stakeholders, both public and private, working in concert at the local and provincial level to build the necessary infrastructure and conduct the necessary policy consultations.
INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT
Infrastructure projects in the Philippines receive large allocations of resources and have been increasing in number. REID Foundation has built networks of cooperation across different sectors in order to maximize both the impact of planned infrastructure projects and the efficiency of their execution.
TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS
The transportation sector is exhibiting both growth potential and increased pressure as the Philippine economy continues to grow. REID Foundation has created networks of consultation and cooperation across different policy actors in order to refine transportation and supply-chain management policy.
URBAN AND REGIONAL PLANNING
REID Foundation has plans to leverage its economic expertise into forming local urban networks of policy actors in order to facilitate more economically sound urban planning policies.
ECONOMICS EDUCATION
Economics education is a facilitating and force-multiplying factor in the spread of economic growth in Philippines. REID Foundation has empowered and capacitated networks of economic educators in various regions of the Philippines, in order to spread economic literacy and policy knowledge.
