REID is a private, not for-profit, policy research and advocacy institute duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in 2009.

OUR STEWARDSHIP
REID Foundation has in place a good finance and accounting unit and system. As a former sub grantee of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), through The Asia Foundation (TAF), REID Foundation has complied and continues to comply with the USAID and TAF accounting rules and procedures. It employs an external auditor: Mendoza, Ignacio and Company.

Dr. Thomas G. Aquino, Chairman
Dr. Aquino has professional expertise in several fields namely business strategy, trade, investments and technology promotions, industrial policy, and trade negotiations.
He is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Research and Communication of the University of Asia and the Pacific. He presently specializes in economic policy related to reinvigorating manufacturing for regional and global competition. (see more on his LinkedIn Account)
Dr. Victor A. Abola, President and Trustee
Dr. Abola is the current Program Director of the Strategic Business Economics Program (SBEP), a Senior Economist and Asst. Professor of the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P).
He is also the Executive Director of the UA&P-FMIC Capital Market Research Alliance (see publications); an Independent Director of First Metro Securities Brokerage Corp., a stock brokerage subsidiary of First Metro Investment Corp.
He is the principal senior consultant of the Department of Trade and Industry in the crafting of the eCommerce Philippines 2022 Roadmap. (see more on his LinkedIn Account)
Dr. Rolando T. Dy, Trustee
Dr. Rolando T. Dy is a Professor at the University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P), where he is also the Executive Director of its Center for Food and Agri-Business. He is a former dean of the UA&P School of Management.
He is the Academic Director and Founder of the Davao-based UA&P Agribusiness Executives Program (AEP). He lectures in the AEP as well as the UA&P Strategic Business Economics program. (see more on his LinkedIn Account)
Prof. Bienvenido P. Nito, Trustee
He is a project manager at, Center for Research and Communication, University of Asia and the Pacific. He has conducted briefings and served as Resource Person in the following subject areas: Macroeconomy, Local Economy, Social Sector, Co-operatives, Micro and Small Enterprises, Poverty, Strategic Planning, Organizational Values and Leadership. Conducted research and served as Panelist in the following research areas: Co-operatives, Micro and Small Enterprises, Poverty, Agriculture, Employment, Health, Education, and Water. Mr. Paul Joseph M. Garcia, Trustee
PJ Garcia is the Chief Executive Officer of Leechiu Management, Inc., a Philippine-based boutique investment management advisory company focused primarily on managing a unique set of investment strategies in both financial and real estate investments for institutional investors and multi-family offices. Previously, he was Head of Institutional Business of BPI’s Asset Management and Trust Group. Mr. Alejandro A. Aquino, Trustee
Mr. Aquino provides advisory work for international and local companies in the areas of business development, capital fund raisings, investor relations, and telecommunications network infrastructure. His current engagements also include coverage of digital transformation, product and service development in wired and wireless broadband services, rights-of-way acquisition, submarine cable systems and telecom regulatory issues. He was a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard Institute for International Development and an International Economist at the Republic National Bank of New York.
